Geary County Home Sales Rose in December 


Total home sales in Geary County rose by 16.1% last month to 36 units, compared to 31 units in December 2024. Total sales volume was $8.2 million, up 12.7% from a year earlier.  The median sale price in December was $257,000, up from $219,900 a year earlier. Homes that sold in December were typically on the market for 34 days and sold for 100.0% of their list prices.  


Geary County Active Listings Up at End of December 


The total number of active listings in Geary County at the end of December was 109 units, up from 75 at the same point in 2024. This represents a 2.4 months' supply of 
homes available for sale. The median list price of homes on the market at the end of December was $219,900. During December, a total of 35 contracts were written up 
from 32 in December 2024. At the end of the month, there were 45 contracts still pending.
