Riley County Home Sales Fell in October
Total home sales in Riley County fell last month to 43 units, compared to 53 units in October 2024. Total sales volume was $14.3 million, down from a year earlier. The median sale price in October was $292,500, up from $281,500 a year earlier. Homes that sold in October were typically on the market for 18 days and sold for 98.4% of their list prices.
Riley County Active Listings Up at End of October
The total number of active listings in Riley County at the end of October was 153 units, up from 120 at the same point in 2024. This represents a 2.4 months' supply of
homes available for sale. The median list price of homes on the market at the end of October was $299,900. During October, a total of 66 contracts were written up
from 65 in October 2024. At the end of the month, there were 96 contracts still pending.
